Can I go back to Friday afternoon?
We spent our weekend down in Austin for my best friends 25th birthday celebration. It was so much fun getting to see my family and spend quality time with Kathy for her birthday! Trips down to Austin are always so quick and busy that I love when I get a full day to spend with those I love!

| These two. Worn out from the weekend activites. It's hard work to be a puppy. Last night we spent the evening watching the ACM Awards, which was amazing, of course. I always love watching award shows to see what everyone is wearing, the hair, but last night I was more excited about the music. My word, it gave me chills. Precious Luke Bryan winning Entertainer of the YEAR! And that Miranda Lambert and precious husband Blake Shelton, seriously.  I haven't stopped listening to music from last night, it was just too amazing. Here are just a few of my favorites...and of course Stevie Wonder, George Strait and Garth Brooths. Don't even get me started on the gorgeous talent that is Carrie Underwood.
