This past weekend, we ventured out of our comfort zone and attended Nascar NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Let me just say, IT WAS A BLAST! We had so much fun cooking out, people watching (oh the people watching), watching the race, enjoying the gorgeous day, and just spending time outside with some friends.
The last time I went to a Nascar race, I was 5 or 6 with my dad. Needless to say, I don't remember much of it. So this was a treat!

If you ever get the chance to attend a Nascar race, do it! You won't regret it, and if you get bored, the people watching will keep you entertained for hours.
