Happy Monday Y'all! I am loving the weather here in Texas today, cold and rainy! Yesterday is snowed!
Since Valentines Day is tomorrow, I thought I would do a fun link up with Becky and share our love story with y'all....
1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
This March we will have been together for 4 years and will be celebrating our ONE YEAR WEDDING anniversary in April
2. How did you meet? What is your love story?
The first night I moved to College Station, the girls and I decided to go out to Northgate, which is where the bars are. Shawn lived on the first floor of our apartment building, so on our way out, we were invited for a drink and he immediately caught my eye! It wasn't until January that we started hanging out and getting to know each other. Finally, in March, we became "official" right after Spring Break. We have been inseparable since and the rest is history!
3. If married, how long have you been married?
We will have been married ONE YEAR on April 30! I can't believe how fast it's gone by, it feels like so much longer! :)
4. If you are married, where did you get married? Big or small wedding?
We were married in my hometown of Austin, Texas. We had about 150 people attend our wedding. It was the most perfect day.

5. Do you have any nicknames that you call one another?
The typical baby, babe, sweetheart, but after we got married, Shawn named me Jr D (My initials now are JRD)
6. Name 3 things you LOVE most about your hubby.
one.
I know that no matter what, he can always make me laugh.

He is the most supportive husband I could ever ask for. He is my best friend.
three.
He is his dad. His father passed away June 2009, and Shawn is a living replica of his father. Such a wonderful man God blessed me with.
7. Tell us how he proposed.
It was Christmas Day of 2009 in front of my family and mother in law with pictures, of course. It was the perfect proposal and so sweet.
8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
We don't normally do anything big for Valentines Day, but he has always sent me flowers!
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
To be completely honest, both. I love lounging on the couch with my husband, but at the same time, I love a sunset dinner on the beach...just like our honeymoon :)
10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Or go anywhere?
We have made a list of all the places we'd love to travel to one day and I would love to start a family with Shawn. :)
11. Tell us what your plans are for this Valentines Day.
Well, since we are on the cleanse, we can't do our annual crab legs, bread, pasta dinner. So we plan on celebrating once the cleanse is over!
12. Are you asking for anything this Valentines?
Nope. He surprised me with fixing up our guest bathroom a couple weekends ago, that's good enough for me!
13. Give us a piece of advice for keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
Communication, always be open to talking about how your feeling or what is bothering you. It's the greatest advice I was ever given and the best I can give. And never go to bed angry or without saying I love you.
14. Show us a picture of what love means to you.
I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone and still wanting them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room.
