Misc Monday: Where I've Been

The crazy life of the DeFords the last couple of days.

Shawn and I both had a 5 day holiday weekend, so we took full advantage of it! 

The past week we've been doing.....

....sick. My allergies had gotten the best of me for a couple of days, but I fought it off just in time for Thanksgiving! 

...Driving. We drove down to my parents lake house on Lake LBJ last Wednesday after taking our Christmas pictures (which will be posted once I get the pictures)! I always love going down to the lake house, to escape the city, the hustle and bustle and just relax with the family.

...Shopping!! I did not participate in Black Friday this year, I wasn't interested in the lines, shoving, fighting, so I sat inside shopping online. Christmas shopping is 90% done! 

...Eating. I don't think I've eaten so much food in a 48 hour period before. My mom, sister and I went to Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls Friday morning after Thanksgiving. DELICIOUS. We saw one of these homemade doughnuts go to the table behind us and just had to try it. Oh my goodness, so good, we couldn't finish the whole thing.

...Relaxing! When we got home Saturday afternoon, the 4 of us climbed into bed and crashed. We relaxed all day Saturday and Sunday. A cold front blew in, so we had the windows open with a beautiful fire! Love this time of the year! 

I think Laila enjoyed it the most!
